As 2025 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to look back at some of our favorite stories, events, and innovations. Much like your favorite music app summarizes your listening habits, we’ve put together our own “Wrapped” to celebrate the rich, multi-sector work that has defined our Saint Paul innovation ecosystem.

💻 The first annual Innovation @ The Park event in partnership with Full Stack and City of Saint Paul Parks and Recreation was a fantastic gathering of innovators in downtown Saint Paul, followed by Minnedemo41 at The Ordway during Twin Cities Startup Week.

🚀 Minnesota made waves on the SXSW global innovation stage with sessions featuring Governor Tim Walz, Dr. Paul Campbell with USPTO and Federal Laboratory Consortium representatives, and Neela Molgaard from DEED and Launch Minnesota led the SXSW Pitch Winners session.
🔌 3M joins US-JOINT Consortium to accelerate semiconductor technology in the US. The consortium drives research and development in next-generation semiconductor advanced packaging and back-end processing technologies anchored by a new cutting-edge facility in Silicon Valley.
✨ Twin Cities emerges as AI-ready 'Star Hub' in Brookings Institution report.
🏆 Vivacity Tech earned the No. 1,485 spot on this year’s Inc. 5000. Read founder Eli Maloley's interview with Inc. Magazine on finding time for balance.
👨💻 The Federal Mashup Lab, in partnership with the Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC), hosted its highly anticipated Closeout Event at Osborn370 in August. Powered by Brown Venture Group and sponsored by the FLC, the program brought together innovators from Minnesota and Michigan to form teams and build commercialization plans for federal technologies in fintech, cleantech, and medtech.
